HTR level: 1 – 50
Court size: 3m x 8.23m – 6m x 10.97m
Ball: Red balls
Racquet size: 21 – 25 inch
Our Red Cubs program is for those players up to rallying with limited control over the 3m net.
Cubs are ready for entry level red ball match play and we hope they will start to play entry level HTR tournaments. They are on the way to building their HTR player rating score and becoming comfortable in a competitive game.
Red Cubs can or are working towards:
- Can pop up (ie self juggle with a bounce) the ball with reasonable control.
- Donkey drop serve (ie bounce serve) into 3m court at least 60%.
- Say the score when serving in a match.
- Able to hit a FH into play with at least 50% success.
- Working on being able to move into position to hit the ball after the bounce.
